About Us - Mountain West Chorale
Our Story
The Mountain West Chorale was founded in 1980 by alumni of Kearns High School and their director, Mr. Richard Pearce. We have expanded to include performers throughout the Salt Lake Valley and are a non-profit organization.
We sing a variety of music, much of it classical. We are a family of friends and have toured the U.S. & Caribbean; Branson, Missouri and Nauvoo, Illinois; Jamestown; New York City; Yellowstone and other places. We are a regular part of the Temple Square Concert Series as well.
We are an auditioned choir and are always looking for excellent singers who are passionate about music. We practice Sunday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 at 7879 South 1530 West Suite 600, West Jordan. Come and see, hear and join us!
